Personally Identifiable Information That I Collect:
I may ask you for, or you may voluntarily submit, personally identifiable information when you are using the Service. The personally identifiable information which you may provide to me could include, but is not limited to:

Analytics and Conversion Tracking:

Like many services, the Analytics Service uses first-party cookies to track visitor interactions as in our case, where they are used to collect information about how visitors use our site. I then use the information to compile reports and to help me improve our site. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page.
The Analytics Service collects information anonymously. They report website trends without identifying individual visitors. You should be aware that personally identifiable information which you voluntarily include and transmit online on the Service or in a publicly accessible blog, chat room, social media platform or otherwise online, or that you share in an open forum such as an in-person panel or survey, may be viewed and used by others without any restrictions. I am unable to control such uses of your personally identifiable information, and by using the Service or any other online services you assume the risk that the personally identifiable information provided by you may be viewed and used by third parties for any number of purposes.
Protection for Children:
I do not have a mechanism to ensure that any user signing in to our site is of a certain age. As such, it is possible for children under the age of 13 to create an account. As mentioned in the "Personally Identifiable Information That We Collect" section (above) the ONLY such information is an email address. If you are the Parent or Legal Guardian of a child under the age of 13 and wish to have this child removed from our database, please contact me at marc+htbaswd [at] isaacsonwebdevelopment [dot] com. Upon doing my best to ascertain that the request is legitimate, I will remove the child's account and all of that child's information from our database.
I take every reasonable effort to protect ALL users of our site from inappropriate behavior.
During the course of using our Service, you may encounter links to third-party Services from within our Service. I am not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. When you link away from our Service, you do so at your own risk.
You may choose to cancel your account with this site at any time. When you cancel your account your personally identifiable information is immediately removed from our Service and our database. Note that I use Mailchimp to maintain the mailing list and Mailchimp has a requirement that when people unsubscribe from the list they must still maintain the email address of that person. I have now way to purge or otherwise hide your email address. However, I will no longer send you any type of correspondence.
Communications with How to Be a Successful Web Developer:
By providing your contact information to me (including, without limitation, your email address, physical address, and phone number) (collectively the “Channels”), you expressly consent to receive communications from me. I may use the Channels to communicate with you and to send information that you have requested. This communication will not impact the choices you have made for your Marketing Preferences in regards to signing up for the email list.
